ART IN THE AFTERNOON

This is an after school program for children grades 3 through 5.  Children will have an opportunity to use a variety of drawing, painting and 3-D media to create exciting and fun works of art while learning some of the basic principles of good composition—shape, color, and design.

 

Classes will be taught by Barbara Timberman.  Mrs. Timberman studied graphic design at SCSU and is active as an artist in the Artists Open Studio of NE Connecticut.  She is an award winning watercolorist who has taught children’s art classes at UConn’s Community School of the Arts for many years.

 

Classes meet on 8 Monday or Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 until 4:45 beginning September 21st.

The cost of the program is $65. Enrollment is limited to 10 children.
