Ms. Brigette Boenig

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Eastern Connecticut State University with a concentration in 7-12 Secondary Education and a B.A. in English in 2005. During my time at E.C.S.U., I interned for one of my English professor's in his College Writing class, teaching and tutoring freshmen students. In addition, I wrote a proposal and received funding from E.C.S.U. to attend the Medieval Renaissance Forum at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire, where I read my senior seminar paper. I also did my student teaching (8th grade Language Arts and Reading) at Teachers' Memorial Middle School in Norwich, Connecticut. Prior to accepting a teaching position at Captain Nathan Hale Middle School, I worked as a substitute teacher for Windham Public Schools, and I taught 8th grade Language Arts and Reading for one year as a long-term substitute teacher at Kelly Middle School in Norwich, Connecticut.
