LANGUAGE ARTS

Students have completed their second revision of their memoir.  I will be continuing to conference with students individually this week.  In addition, they will have a Word Wisdom quiz on Wednesday and also be working on poetry.

READING

Students have finished reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon, and they should have kept track of characters as they read as well as using sticky notes.

FINAL ASSESSMENT for the novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is this week, and students will be preparing for their final assessment (study guide/notes).  Considering this assessement is open-book, thorough responses with specific text evidence for support (direct quotes) is expected.
