Happy Fall!!!
CNH and CHS held our first joint parents meeting on October 12. It was nice to see so many parents there. We had a group discussion and then talked about some things that were school specific. Some of the items that we discussed for CNH included
· Walk a thon in June raised $218. We hope to run the event again this Spring since it is enjoyed by both staff and students, but hope to do a better job raising money.
· Tuesday, November 22 we will be hosting a staff appreciation luncheon for CNH staff. We are looking for donations of drinks, desserts, salads, etc. Items may be dropped off at school or sent in with your child on Monday or Tuesday. Please let me know if you are able to help out.
· We will be selling SCRIP as a fundraiser this fall. Information should be coming home soon.
· We are looking for people to help out at the Craft Fair, which will be held on Saturday, December 3 from 9-3. CNH is responsible for running the Take-a-Chance table.
· We are also looking for parents to help out on the PTO board. We only plan on having 3 more meetings this year. If you are interested in helping me out, please contact me.
· Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 6 @ 6:30 in the Library/Media Center. Hope to see you there.
