VERNAL POOL OBSERVATION PLATFORM PROJECT

Problem :  For several years students from CNHMS have been monitoring the aquatic life which inhabit the vernal pools at Camp Creaser.  Because these ecosystems are very fragile, the number of students entering the pools at any given time could jeopardize the integrity of the system.  (In other words too many people in the pool would kill the stuff living in them.)
