Biographical Summary
Troy Hopkins became principal of Coventry High School in July 2007, after serving two years as assistant principal of Capt. Nathan Hale Middle School. Originally from Rhode Island, Mr. Hopkins attended the University of Connecticut where he majored in biological sciences and competed on the track and field team. He spent 14 years teaching high school science and coaching on Cape Cod, MA while earning a Master of Arts in Teaching at Bridgewater State College and a second Masters in Educational Leadership at Salem State College. He resides in Coventry with his wife and two daughters.
