High School Advisory Council
The High School Advisory Council (HSAC) is comprised of parents, community members, students, teachers and the Principal. The purpose is to provide input and feedback to the CHS Principal on matters pertaining to the school, its vision and future direction. The group analyzes how specific initiatives contribute to a positive learning environment and the overall educational experience of the students. The HSAC's goals include, but are not limited to, academics, elective programming, co-curricular opportunities, extracurricular activities, scheduling, portfolio projects, student recognition and effective communication between families and the school. In addition, the HSAC hosts workshops on relevant issues for parents of high school students. After examining data from a variety of sources, the HSAC creates a School Enhancement Plan from which CHS develops goals for the following year.
