Robert Slajda has been an English teacher at CHS since 1982. He previously taught at Lyman Memorial in Lebanon and at Vernon Center Middle School. He is a proud UConn alumni with a Bachelor of Arts with dual majors in English and education graduating with high honors.
He also received his masters in education and his sixth year certificate in educational leadership from UConn. He is extensively interested in writing as a Fellow in the National Project and the teacher of the journalism class and the UConn cooperative composition course. Mr. Slajda wears many ‘hats’ as the chair of the faculty council, mentor and cooperating teacher, and has filled in as acting department chair and assistant principal.
