I am so excited to be working in the Coventry school system!  I graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology.  In 2003, I graduated from The University of New Haven with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.   While completing coursework for my Master’s Degree I worked in the New Britain school system as an intern.  After that, I was hired in the Salem School system where I taught Reading Intervention to students in grades K-7.  I had the pleasure of coming to Coventry in 2006 where I was a long term substitute teacher in second grade.  I was hired to teach second grade for the following school year and have been here ever since.  This school year, 2009-2010, I get to work at GHR and CGS as an Intervention Teacher.   It is an exciting change!  I am able to see all of my former students.   I look forward to getting back to being a classroom teacher soon.
