From my first step into Coventry Grammar School, I knew that I was entering a special learning community. The path that led to my new position in Coventry was as a kindergarten, first-grade and special-education teacher in Manchester.  After spending 18 years as a primary classroom teacher, I had the opportunity to work the past four years as a district math trainer developing curriculum, presenting and modeling classroom strategies and instructional practices.  I am eager to bring my love and enthusiasm for early-childhood education to my new role as principal of Coventry Grammar School.

I believe when young learners enter school they bring a clear, enthusiastic and honest vision of the world around them.  As educators and parents, we have the duty to protect and nourish their vision through our teaching and parenting.  I know that the gifted and dedicated teaching and support staff at Coventry Grammar School is prepared each day to nurture and develop the unique learning styles evident in the students who come to us daily. Our priorities are to establish connections with our families to keep childhood dreams alive and to continue to make learning an exciting adventure.

I am incredibly proud and excited to be the principal of Coventry Grammar School!  I look forward to meeting each of our students and their families.  Please make it a point to stop and introduce yourselves as we begin our journey together this year.
