Yarina Remembrances of Ecuador

Yarina, a family group of musicians, singers, and dancers from Ecuador, entertained our students on February 15.  The Yarina performers showed off their colorful costumes and unique, native instruments while playing traditional Ecuadorian musical stories and songs.  The children were encouraged to clap along with the engaging beats, and several were called up to play special instruments and follow the dancers around the gym floor!
