Grade 2 Recycling Projects

Coventry Grammar’s Grade 2 students visit the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority (CRRA) Trash Museum in Hartford in November as part of their Science studies related to recycling and environmental concerns.  An exciting and engaging assignment for the students prior to their visit is the creation of projects made exclusively from recycled products found at home.  Each year, we continue to be amazed by the creativity of students and their families in coming up with new and interesting displays that are shown in the main and second-grade corridors for the entire school community to enjoy!
