Jump Rope for Heart

Coventry Grammar School students celebrated their healthy hearts during this week’s Jump Rope for Heart events on behalf of the American Heart Association.  All through the week, students in Physical Education classes participated in a series of aerobic activities involving hopping and jumping with ropes of various lengths.  Coordinated by  P.E. teacher Barbara Caldwell, along with the assistance of student teacher Megan Sheehan and parent volunteers, Jump Rope for Heart annually seeks contributions from families for the American Heart Association.  All of our students take part in the event whether or not their parents are able to contribute.

 

Even Wednesday’s snow cancellation would not put the “freeze” on our students’ fun, as the classes that missed Jump Rope for Heart that day will have the opportunity to join in after the winter break!
